- Imogen was inspired by Tulip Time. She has dutch shoes and a dutch costume from Grandpa Walcott. She sings and dances the kinder dance and likes to be a real dutch dancer.
- Imogen’s training wheels are moved up a little more. She is able to go down the driveway and is trusting her braking skills. We still don’t trust her to use her brakes in an emergency.
- Imogen finished her first year of school on May 23. She got the “Snack Monster” award.
- Imogen still loves cooking and baking with salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, flour, sugar, and vanilla. She leaves things covered (like bread would be covered) and puts things in the oven to bake and sets “timers”.
- Common numbers for age and time: 4, 5, 6, 16, 100.
- Imogen eats well yet although she takes a very long time.
- Imogen is excited to have just turned 3 and 1/2. Age and height seem to correspond in her mind. She believes she is taller than many people (and things) that she is not taller than.
- Imogen gets to brush her teeth first and then mom and dad check up on her. The same goes with her butt but we are a little more timid on that front (or shall I say back… bu-dum-bum)
- Still sings constanatly
- Makes up words and then translates them for us. Some conversations are completely non-sensical.
- Margo is picking up cheerios and getting them to her mouth (slowly).
- Sitting up steadily.
- Has pulled her self up a couple of times.
- Margo has a strong preference for Lisa and can have a little anxiety for being separated.
- Margo loves being outside and in public. We are playing around with outward facing baby carriers to accommodate.
- Waves with her full arm and plays peek-a-boo by holding a cloth in front of her face and pulling it down
- Not as interested in baby toys as real objects. Loves cups, bowls, containers, keys…etc.
